MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Eddie Vallee and I am the new President of Dollard Soccer. I have been involved with soccer for 14 years, holding a number of positions within the Dollard Soccer Executive Board as well as the Board of Directors.

This is an exciting time to be part of Dollard Soccer because we are entering a new era where we are placing a large amount of our time and money on training. We have hired a Technical Director, Rohan Pirali who, along with the V.P. Technical, Brian Mink, have set up a new Winter Academy for our Inter-City teams - these teams now train all year round. This will make Dollard teams more competitive and produce a better class of players.

We have also implemented coaches’ clinics which are open to each and every coach and assistant coach throughout Dollard Soccer. This, too, will help elevate a better experienced coach who will better understand the game of soccer, and be in position to pass this knowledge down to the players.

There will be a technical team going around to the fields during the summer soccer season to assist all coaches with any and all questions they may have, and assist them to run their practices.

These are just a few examples of the steps that we are taking to improve and promote a better brand of soccer in Dollard. We are doing our best to respond to our children’s soccer needs and I am sure as parents that you will all agree with the implementation of the technical team, that Dollard Soccer is responding to our children’s desire to learn the game of soccer, to play the game of soccer to the best of their ability and above all, to love the game of soccer and have fun playing the game.

We have also responded to the parents and players’ request to improve our web site. We have taken your suggestions and have come up with this new and improved web site, where you the parent, you the player, and you the fan, can keep up with the latest news, updates, field conditions and the status of your favourite team. You can also contact me with any and all your concerns, of which will be replied within 48 hours.

Please join all of us in kicking off the new era of Dollard Soccer where our children’s development will be second to none.

Veuillez noter que vous alliez reçevoir par courriel les informations : parcs, dates de jeu, etc., au plus tard le 15 mai.

Saturday: 10:00AM - 12:00 PM
