To All,
The Dollard Soccer Club Referee Committee in 2010 is ready to continue implementing the Canadian Soccer Association Referee Classification Model. This means that all new (born in 1997 or before) and returning referees have to be registered before May 1.
All candidates (new and returning referees) will need to go to the Dollard soccer office during opening hours to fill the referee affiliation form (a recent picture and a photocopy of the Medicare Card is needed).
The Dollard Soccer Club Referee Committee has ensured that all of its referees attend a Referee Clinic(7-A-Side - Entry Level 11-A-Side - Provincial).
The Referee Clinic for Dollard will be held on Saturday May 1 (9 AM-5 PM) at the Spring Garden Chalet and on Sunday May 2 (10 AM-1 PM) in Room 023 & 024 at the Civic Centre.
The instructor will teach the Laws of 7-A-SIDE and 11-A-SIDE soccer in English and will at the end of the course give a theoretical exam in English or in French that must be passed.
-
All new and returning referees have to show up with the Canadian Soccer Association Referee Workbook printed and completed (please staple). The pre-course study should also be completed but this is not to be handed in. The Canadian Soccer Association Referee Workbook is worth 50% of the 80% passing grade. The workbook, the pre-course study and the 7-A-Side rules are available for download here, below:

For 7-A-Side click here, read only C7-9 & C7-10 (pages 5-6). Please note that for House League there is a 2nd chance on throw-ins.
After the theoretical process, 3 practical sessions are planned to ensure that our referees are ready for the beginning of the 2010 season.
During the course of the season, planned meetings and practical sessions will be also on the agenda.
